This is Bill Bates son. Bill played with the Vols in early 80s before heading to NFL. His son, Dillon< will be a difference maker. GO VOLS ______________________________________________ I’m not sure that I recall a more meaningful commitment from a player than the day Dillon committed to Tennessee. It meant so much to this fan base. Everyone knew Dillon had many options from many teams, not to mention offers from Alabama and Florida. With Tennessee’s program being down, many thought he would elect to play elsewhere. He came home instead, and will be revered for it. This entire “legacy class” as they are called, will be revered regardless of how their careers turn out. They believe in Tennessee, and the fans believe in them. There is something special coming, and Dillon will be leading the way.
