This is Bob Ogle from Pacific Ridge School. It is currently 12:15pm on Wednesday, May 14th. As a precautionary measure we have determined that we are going to close school today at 12:30 PM. We will run our school busses starting at 12:45 PM. If your child normally rides a school bus, please have them get on their normal route bus at 12:45 PM. If you are going to pick up your child ON CAMPUS, please do so as soon as possible. We are going to move everyone into the athletic center so that we are all in the same place. After 12:30, we will have staff available outside the athletic center to help retrieve your child. You will not need to leave your car. Students who drove to school or siblings who came with a student driver will be transported to the Loker parking lot at approximately 12:45. Once again, we have NOT been asked to evacuate, but are choosing to close school as a precautionary measure. Our students, faculty, and staff are safe at school at this time. Again, we plan to run the busses at 12:45 PM. The campus will remain open until all students have left or we are asked to evacuate. As students leave, we will account for everyone, so please do have them sign out of campus or onto a bus as they leave. Thank you.
