This is Buckmeadow Plantation in Lake Providence, LA. Ive always been in love with this house. Ive never had the chance to go inside but there are tons of info on this place in the East Carroll Library. The wife of the last couple to live here (years ago!!) once told me a story of Frank & Jesse James spending the night hiding out here and they wrote their names on a wall. The current owners have no intentions of EVER fixing it up but they cant tear it down bc it is protected. GAH how I wish I had the money to restore this place!!
