This is Chance. I’ve given him this name for a reason…. I was alerted to this boy through craigslist being listed for free here in Atchison and they wanted him gone NOW! I made contact with them telling them who I was and that I would help and ensure that he would find a good home of which they didn’t care they just wanted me to come and get him. When I asked about him and what his name was they stated “I don’t know”, when asked how old “I don’t know” when asked why you are getting rid of him “He is too big for my house”. I asked how long they had him and stated they got him for free off craigslist in Kansas City from another person who got him off craigslist. Here is what I know about Chance. Chance is a male larger Yorkie. He weighs 18 pounds. He is now neutered and he is heartworm negative. He doesn’t have issues with other dogs. In the shelter he is scared to death and of course doesn’t understand why he is there. He is super friendly and loves people. He gives very sweet kisses; bless his precious little heart… This boy has been shuffled around SO many times, at least two that I know of and no telling how many prior. I’ve named his Chance as this is his lucky chance to never be shuffled around again. His second chance at the family he deserves. My heart broke at the answers I received in regards to him. I took him with me knowing nothing about him except the sad look in his eyes wondering what was happening to him yet again. Well, this is IT, this is the last time he will have this look and the last time he will wonder what he has done wrong this time. His new family will cherish him…… So, I ask…..
