This is Chicory. She was pulled today from a Metro Atlanta County Shelter in dire need of medical help. She is suffering from severe acute pneumonia, demodectic mange and secondary skin infections, as well as an upper respiratory infection and multiple other issues. She is currently under the care of an emergency veterinarian, and her initial estimate on intake is $2,500.00. She is critical, but we believe with the intensive care, she will recover. She is obviously the victim of long term severe neglect, but has the sweetest disposition, and the volunteer staff at the shelter absolutely LOVE her. Every time anyone went to see her, she would roll on her back for belly rubs. I am the volunteer for Cherokee County Humane Society who asked her to be rescued, and am asking for your help by donating anything you can towards her vetting costs. All I see is a dog in need...a beautiful sweet dog that never deserved to suffer so much pain. Please help us help her.
