This is Daniel form Christis Off-Broadway Theatre with a unique opportunity for you to share your talents with an entire community this Christmas season. Our Christmas production this year is a bluegrass musical set in the early 1900s in a rural, coal mining region of Kentucky. It follows the struggles of a community gripped by poverty to find an anchor in each other, family and Faith. We are looking for a bluegrass musical director (or band leader), bands, musicians, vocalists and musician actors (or those who are trainable as such) of all ages to contribute to this wonderful story. There are opportunities for you to do a single song (with your group or as a solo), contribute to the musical underscore, join in on the community “jam session”, or even pick up a speaking role. We are especially looking for a male musician/vocalist to play the role of Grandpa who narrates the story. If you are unable to be an active part, you could still contribute by referring us to someone (or them to us) whom you thing may really enjoy this opportunity. This will be a wonderfully memorable experience that everyone in your family, group or organization will cherish having been a part of for years to come.
