This is Dr. Tariq Al Ghandour. A doctor and professor in medicine from #Egypt. He is most known for his heroic work during the #Jan25 revolution in the make shift hospital of #Tahrir square, voluntarily treating hundreds of Egyptians that were fighting for freedom. Dr. AlGhandour, like thousands of other educated intellectuals was arrested under the military regime ( because knowledge is a threat in Egypt) , He fell ill while detained, and received no medical care. He was literally left to bleed to death. He is seen here on his first night home from prison, dead...with his son and and wife sleeping by his side before he has to be buried.
