This is Elas she was born on Dec 17 2014 now if you want to talk tough and resilient Wow Elsa wins by a mile! Her birth was not expected so she came into this world on a cold and wind day! we brought her and Minnie into shelter she was a little cold but wasnt shivering. She had some hair but in a weeks time the thick coat came in quickly. Since then we have had -32 Celsius and she just plays in the snow. While I do not recommend foaling in December I am still blessed to first hand see how Mother nature provides what they need to survive and thrive in these harsh conditions!
