This is Maroon Bells, Colorado about a month ago.... colors are starting to turn so Ill be posting new fall colors images shortly... on this particular morning an elderly man whistled next to me while I spent the morning taking it the Bells unbelievable beauty...he honestly sounded like an angel...Ive never heard anyone whistle like him in my life; the man standing on the right side of the frame gives scale to the grander of this beautiful spot!!! D800E ISO 100 1/125 @ F 11 with a circular polarizer. ND filter gradient- used in the sky..to temper the bright zones compared to the lake and ground level trees... In CS6 I used the lasso to enhance very small sections for over an hour...just picking a batch of trees here and a mountain ridge there etc.... softened the lake with surface blur, reduced green added blues...no curves on this one.... a bit of contrast and brightness play with the wand in areas..... welcome likes to my FB photography page....personal page is locked maxed at 5000 but would love to share with you on the photography page... facebook/photographerrachelbrockey
