This is Mattie! Mattie is somewhere around 2 years old, and about 13 pounds. Mattie came to us just after giving birth to her puppies in the animal shelter. She was terrified and her long coat was completely matted. Since then, her puppies have grown up, and have found homes, and it’s now Mattie’s turn. She is looking for a home with someone who understands that she’s had a rough go of it, and will give her time to adjust. She is wary of strangers, but once she trusts you, she’s completely adorable. She would love to live somewhere with a backyard, as she loves to run around in the grass. She does well in a crate, and she will get into things when left home alone outside of the crate. She will sit on your lap all day if you’ll scratch and pet her. Mattie will be available for adoption around December 1st.
