This is Merlin. He is a three-year-old rescue we adopted a little over two years ago. I was three months pregnant at the time with our first child and still grieving the death of my first Pom, Buffy. We brought him home and he fit in instantly with our small family, sleeping in our bed, under the covers, from that night on. Slowly but surely his tiny, sweet self helped fill the hole in my heart. Like they say, my rescue dog rescued me.
