This is Mya, She is one of the first dog that Jen & I worked on together. We found out about her from a friend, Pam, in Pocahontas, AR. Mya and her 8 puppies were in the shelter there and were going to die if we couldnt get them out. Jennifer pulled Mya and another rescuer was going to pull the puppies. I had actually talked to Rebecca Todd when she when she applied to adopt Grace from Save Will & Grace - Looking for Forever Homes. Rebecca told me that she grew up in Arkansas and was always told that Pit Bulls are aggressive, blah, blah, blah. She told me that seeing Will & Grace changed that for her. She didnt end up fostering Mya. Instead, she gave her a forever home filled with lots of love and compassion! Like Pit Bulls do, Mya went into that home and made her mama and daddy Pit Bull advocates. A few months ago Rebecca contacted us to say they were moving and would be able to foster. We saw how happy Mya is and how well she is taken care of and jumped on that offer. They are now fostering Millie, formerly Mama, who Jen rescued from the shelter. Thank You Rebecca & Michael Todd for opening your heart and home to these extraordinary pups. Mya is very lucky that you found her! Jennifer is thrilled to see Millie so happy & making herself right at home. What you guys do for us is priceless!
