This is NOT to solicit an argument! Just my thoughts and hopefully something that we ALL will deeply consider.. Blacking out profile pics until a verdict is reached.. I get it. I like it. And I understand how everyone wants to feel like they are down for the cause. But after the trial is over and done, and these photo blackouts are forgotten, what happens next? Will we be blacking out photos when there is another “Trayvon" and another and another? No shade to people who participated, I just would like us to start making EFFECTIVE change. What would Martin Luther King do? or Malcolm X? We live in a time where people stand by and record people getting beat up just to post it on World Star. This seems to be the “Im only out for myself" generation. No one wants to TRULY help. Where are our leaders? I guess we are all waiting on Beyonce and Jayz to save the day. This is so much bigger than a social media stunt.
