This is Pastor Matt posting about the mission trip. We have 21 kids signed up to go on the mission trip. Im going to be very honest and let everybody know that as of right now the mission trip is questionable about whether or not we will be going. Due to liability issues we are unable to borrow a 15 passenger van from another church. I had one reserved through a rental car agency but they set up the reservation in Lansing Illinois instead of Lansing Michigan which is almost in Chicago. They called me yesterday afternoon to inform me of the mixup. I have spent the last few hours trying to get another rental van and have been unsuccessful. A minivan will not work because we only have two drivers so we need a 15 passenger van and a 7 passenger minivan which I am bringing my own. So Im asking the Church as a whole to contact any friends , coworkers or family to see if we can find a 15 passenger van that will suit our needs.
