This is Retired VSP K9 Bohdan who just started cancer treatment yesterday. Laceys Fund was created to assist handlers with medical expenses such as these for our retired police canines. For more information about Laceys Fund, please go to vtk9/wp-content/themes/vtpca/docs/laceys-fund.pdf The Vermont Police Canine Association Annual Fund Raiser Ball & Silent Auction was organized to help raise money for Lacey’s Fund to benefit ailing retired police canines with assistance to their handlers for veterinary expenses. Half of the proceeds from this charity event will also go to continue our excellent training program, provide needed equipment such as bullet & stab proof vests for our canines, as well as raise awareness for the work that these teams do each year to serve and protect our communities throughout the state of Vermont.
