This is Rugby - I saw him with her mom at the hospital yesterday. I could not talk to them since his mom, Crystal was crying the whole time when the doctor came. It was very obvious that Crystal was desperate since she wanted to get help for her dog but she could not effort it. I called the hospital yesterday evening to understand more and now I have more information today. Rugby cannot eliminate for 2 days now. The doctor thinks that urinary cristals cause blockage. The vet drained him yesterday but Rugby is not eliminating again. He needs to be hospitalized, keep the cathedor inside and get IV and fluids. But the estimated cost is $800 to $1200 for this. I told Crystal that I will cover the drainage today but it is just a temporary relief and doesnt resolve anything. He needs to be hospitalized now. If after a couple of days things dont get well, Rugby will need an operation which is around $1500. Crystal has contacted Red Rover for financial assistance but it would take a while to get any response. It is so hard to love your dog but see him dying before you! So Please help if you can spare some money to offer the hospitalization or share him on your walls otherwise Rugby may die! Thank you.
