This is Ruger! He is a one year old ckc registrable male Great Dane. Weighing at about 120lbs & stands about 3 ft tall on all fours. Also not finished growing. Ill start by explaining why we are having to find him a new home.! We have two dogs a pit who was here first & Ruger.! We are also expecting our first baby & so of course both dogs havent been getting nearly as much attention as they deserve. Our Pitbull has started to act out which means jumping our fence & running off. In order to fix this problem Im going to have to bring him back inside where he belongs but I just cannot handle two big dogs inside AND a newborn. RUGER has been an incredible dog & is so sweet with everyone.!! We love him like a child & I really wish it hadnt come to this.): Ruger gets along great with our Pit & other FRIENDLY dogs. Let me specify.!! If you bring him around another dog & that dog isnt as equally hyper & wanting to play or isnt patient and understanding that this giant is a baby then it is NOT a good idea. He has no clue how big he is & a lot of other dogs dont want this big clumsy dog jumping all over them. If they snap at him he WILL snap back with force (he thinks hes a Pitbull I guess). He is fully potty trained & UTD on everything. He has been outside for a while now because we just recently moved & our last home was way too small for all of us to be inside. He will need to go to someone who is willing to work with him because he is extremely hardheaded & very hyper. He has been kinda skittish since the day I got him when he was 3 months old. Hes NEVER been popped let alone abused but still acts scared sometimes. He is very rough on himself & clumsy. He has fluid built up around his elbows that the vet says his ligaments & joints have built up to keep themselves protected because of how rough he is on himself. He loves all people and children & will stay right by your side at all times to be loved on. Hes an attention hog & a great cuddle buddy (even though he has no clue that hes just too big.) Im asking a rehoming fee of $200 or make me a reasonable offer. Please do not leave any stupid comments. This was not an easy decision for me to make.! Please do your research on this breed before contacting me. I will not let him go if I think that it is not a good fit & that he may be bounced from home to home. Thank you.! Located in Jackson La.
