This is Smokey Joeys dog, she has had him for 12 years and still takes him every where!!! I wanted to update everyone on her condition. She has been sick all week with cramps, dizziness, and nausea, but her liver profile looks like its stabilizing, at 2.7 albumen this week. We went to see Dr. B gastro doc yesterday and shes concerned about the swelling in her face, she more concerned with the swelling of her tummy, she looks like she ate a watermelon :) We are taking her off of steroids for now and see if she will stay stable, if not she goes back on them. We will also try taking her off her inflammation meds next week, one at a time so we know what works and what doesnt. They also gave me meds for the nausea and cramps hope they work. Monday we are going in to do a sonogram and a full blood panel to check thyroids, and I guess everything else. The Hog Cook off is this weekend and I dont usually let her go to such big events, I dont even like taking her out to eat or go into walmart, but she is begging me, she loves the Hog Cook Off, so I will bite my tongue and let her go, grrr, so scared she will catch something but I guess I have to let her do something she going crazy at the house. This kid is determined not to be sick, shes very brave. Loves living life to the fullest, her favorite saying is to laugh, love, and her faith.
