From Mr. Bones & Co.: My name is Elli Frank and I dont give up. I am the founder of Mr. Bones & Co. and tomorrow I will be driving two hours to New Haven, CT to visit Tanya and take her hiking- she loves being outside with people. At almost eight years old, Tanya has never had a home. We pulled her from a No-Kill shelter in Nov. 2013. She was adopted in Jan. 2014 and returned five weeks later because the family dog and her did not get along. Her former adopters were heart broken. Tanya was hospitalized with extreme stomach bloat in March and then lost her foster home last week because of a move. I refused to put her into boarding so I made the decision to enroll her in a 30 day training program in Connecticut. Tanya is affectionate, loving, obedient. Tanya was dumped at 6 months. She will be eight years old this summer. She has been homeless for all but five weeks of the last 7 1/2 years. Tanya doesnt need your money. She is not broken and she isnt in need of rehabilitation. All she needs is a home and some forever love. I will drive Tanya anywhere in the continental United States for the right home: dog experienced, no other pets, loving and stable.
