This is Woody....he was found in the woods all alone. He was scared,alone,hungry and injured. A very nice man found him and decided to stop what he was doing and bring him to NEW HOPE ANIMAL RESCUE CENTER. When I first saw him I was sick to my stomach. He looked like a Skelton. His eyeball was half hanging out and he was covered in fleas and ticks. He had a few injuries on his neck and back but I still took him and cuddled him close and promised him that he would never have to worry again about food or pain! We have him a bath, cleaned his wounds and fed him. He ate like there was no tomorrow. He seemed to be around 12 plus years old. The next day he went to vet and she decided his eye would have to be removed. So he had surgery. He did great and best of all two wonderful ladies came in and met him and decided to adopt him. He now has went to a home with a soft bed to sleep on and good food and a family that loves him. He also received donations from some of you. We are blessed that there are so many caring,kind and helpful people in our community. So I want to say thank you for helping WOODY. He is one lucky dog. He now knows the meaning of human love!
