This is a 1965 speech by President Lyndon B. Johnson addressing the Nation after the murder of an innocent woman by the Klu Klux Klan (KKK), which was at one time Americas own brand of religious and racist supremacists/extremists. Today the KKK is a defunct organization primarily because our Society had the wherewithal and the determination to end the moral and financial support for this group of paranoid criminals. More importantly, the political establishment backed by the FBI and the National Guard took forceful action to stop their terrorist activities before it sparked an even broader movement. Please note the serious tone of President Johnsons voice when he gives the KKK an ultimatum. This is the sort of tone and action that must be taken by political and religious leaders in the majority Muslim countries that today are plagued by their own brand of religious supremacist ideology. The USA and the Western Nations will never accomplish the task without risking its own war against Islam. The beast must be killed where it is nurtured. It must not be allowed to continue unabated. If this sort of fascist monster is allowed to flourish we will have the rise of another Nazi State and will again be embroiled in a World War to try to stop it.
