This is a BIG #1 anniversary for a special listener, Nancy. Remember her? Her son received a kidney donated by his mom. Heres a note from Nancy - who reminds us to please sign up at beadonor.ca! It will also be the one year anniversary that Scott went on air with you as I was being wheeled into surgery. I am so happy to report that he, (and my kidney!), are doing extremely well. Scott is in excellent health and has great energy and a sense of well-being. I thank God for allowing me to have the honour of being a part of making him well again. I just wanted to thank you once again for your care and concern during that time and also for all the good you did in publicizing our story. Stories like this go a long way to help promote live organ donation. I wish I had a dozen more kidneys to help others. The operation and recovery were a piece of cake!
