This is a MUST read for artists and those in media arts and entertainment. A very good friend of mine who is a beast for the Kingdom, hit me up asking me if I wanted my music video and media content to be aired live in Paris and a few other amazing places. Of course I said YES lol But he mentioned a few thing that ring so true to me and is something I have been telling artists all along the way of my career. I wasnt the only person he contacted to get content aired on these platforms, there were others as well. But some of those artists simply do not have quality videos. They look like $100 Walmart camera videos. People have this mind set of I just want to put stuff out there to be seen. Well, you can do that.. but it will damage your career and slow the process of you actually GOING somewhere with your music. You cant just release anything you want to... not if your trying to play ball with the big boys. You MUST create content and hire people like Harmini and Harmini Productions to shoot your videos and record, mix and master your music. If our content is going places, then it makes sense to hire a company like ours to DO your projects!! It doesnt HAVE to be us, but it has to be one that shows promise of a legitimate project. And you HAVE to be willing to SPEND money guys. Hoping everyone will do everything all the time for free is going to have you sitting in the shadows watching the ones who ARE willing to work hard, spend money, pay tithes and trust God move forward in life, in ministry, in their careers. Love it or hate it.. #TruthBeTold. My boy hit me up and said my stuff was aired live over a 2 week duration. And after commenting to him that God was doing AMAZING things in our lives both individually and corporately... He said to me in response: All it takes is thinking out of the box and making our videos, CDs better to match what mainstream is doing in quality. Bro, some of the artists videos couldnt go, because it was low quality, and where its broadcasting overseas, its like NBC, and Fox, ...they dont air something that have not produced with quality in HD. And its very true guys. Youre not gonna get the big blessings in your career if your not willing to save, spend money, and work with those who are doing what you feel God wants YOU to do as well. Some of us have launched forward in just a few short years... simply because we were willing to INVEST in our own projects. Which, no one is going to believe in your vision if you wont show that you believe in it yourself. Why should I believe in your vision, if you arent even willing to do anything to trust God and make it happen? The Against The Ropes music video I did in 2013 has already been in the Dallas Morning News, Denton Times Newspaper, Charter Tv, aired live while opening up for Andy Mineo, viewed by people such as Lil Romeos manager and others from both Reach Records and Flames Label, it has also been aired on international Television across the entire region of IRAN, and and just recently hit Paris and other amazing platforms where people get to see who God is through the life of #Harmini. And guess what? Everyone who was in this video was went right into those places to... there face, was seen by everyone who has seen the video. And thats just some of the places it has gone... but my point is, if your going to do this thing guys.. then DO THIS THING. Dont spend $500 on a video thats going to have NO weight in getting into major places, when you could save $1000- $1,500 more and have a video that could hit BET! RapZilla! News channels! Live Television! And SO so much more. Is it NOT worth the extra money? You might say well.. I wanna get stuff out now, I dont want to wait. And to that I say ok.. spend your money and make a Walmart video. But as for me, im going to wait 3-6 months longer, save the HECK out of my money, and im going to make a video that can stand right beside a Jay-Z or Eminem or Lecrae or Andy Mineo video. And while your video is being seen by friends and family, my video will be on the computer screens of major labels, major A&R reps, major managers, and people who will not soon forget my name or my content.
