This is a SPECIAL INITIATIVE to try to force the AFP to pursue the possible violation of the constitution by Tony Abbott. The Australian Electoral Commission CANNOT INVESTIGATE this so we have to ask the AFP to do so. Please consider doing this. Tony Magarathea has put forward two FOI requests but nothing has resulted. HIs emails have Our presumption must be that a foreign national has defrauded our system and that the AFP must investigate to determine the truth. The AFP should be able to have access to the document below which would, theoretically, show that Abbott relinquished his UK citizenship BEFORE he was appointed as an MP. https://gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/257089/form_rn.pdf THIS IS OUR SUGGESTED FORM LETTER “I bring to your attention a possible fraud committed by our Prime Minister. Mr Abbott was born in England to a British father on 4/11/1957 giving Mr Abbott automatic British citizenship. In 1981 Mr Abbott became an Australian citizen to fulfil the requirements of the Rhodes Trust . In 1994 Mr Abbott entered the Commonwealth parliament and has been elected to that parliament on eight occasions. On EACH OCCASION Mr Abbott signed a statutory declaration for the Australian Electoral Commission stating he was eligible to stand for election to parliament. The Australian constitution, section 44, precludes dual nationals from standing for parliament and Mr Abbott, as a former lawyer, as a senior member of staff of ministers in the Howard government and as adviser to John Hewson would be very much aware of the rules and regulations relating to politicians and their entry into parliament. Two FOI requests have been made to the ‘Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’ in Canberra and to the British Home Office in London. No proof of him renouncing his British citizenship has been provided by either organisation. As a result there is doubt as to the legitimacy of Mr Abbott being in parliament and as such I would like you to investigate if fraud has occurred. The fraud does not just include massive amounts of money, his salary, his bike rides, the travel expenses and meal allowances, but also his staff and office allowances as an MP, a minister and as Prime Minister add up to many millions of dollars. I urge you to examine this immediately and solve the matter before further damage is done to the legitimacy of the office of Prime Minister and to the country as a whole. Signed …………….” You can also email George Brandis at [email protected] afp.gov.au/contact/report-a-crime.aspx#How-do-I-report-a-crime-to-the-AFP
