This is a basic animation of how stem cells form. It is an amazing process. Watching it take place through animation helps me better understand where our research is, currently, as well as where it is going in the near future. There is a branch of medicine specifically addressing Traumatic Brain Injury/(hemorrohagic/ischemic/TIA) stroke/ and (Alzheimers/Parkinsons/other) diseases that depend on stem cell research. With stem cell research modern science can and will cure most neurological diseases over the next 25 years. The first major steps are only a few years away now, with some countries already making milestone breakthroughs. By caring for ones self properly, eating well, and living a life that includes such habits as exercise, meditation, and loving relationships, humans can be expected to live much healthier, and therefore happier, lives in the next generation.
