This is a bit long but pls spent a few mins. And pls share to the world and let them know whats actually going on in HK. Because we can no longer trust our government and police to protect us. When I read this article from Huffington, I know we have all been fooled by the government. The reason they offered to talk to the students yesterday is just to put on a show for the foreign presses thats gathering in HK and buy them more time. What the government has done today: 1) a press conference saying they will not negotiate on the terms of the students (which they agreed yesterday); 2) follow right after by a press conference by the pro-government Leco counsels to complain about the impact of the occupation and urge the students to retreat; 3) At the same time of the press conference, the pro-government groups which are linked with the Triad started to crash the occupied areas in very violent ways; (although we may never find any evidence between the two but I dont believe in coincidence, esp in politics. All HK ppl knew theyre well connected) 4) instruct the police not to take any action when there is clash between the 2 groups. I was so furious when I saw the news showing the students were hit by member of the pro-government group. And what the police has done, nothing! Worst than nothing, they escort the guy away and put him on a taxi!! There are numerous events like this in HK today, but to the foreign presses, what they saw was just HK ppl hitting HK ppl (Huffington use HK residents against pro-democracy protesters). They dont know all the relationship behind the scene. The attacker are not ordinary HK ppl, they are Triad. I was so shocked when I saw the news, its more violent than pepper spray and tear gas! I cant believe the government has done this! But are we going to give up? NO The victory after a good fight is always better (even when the opponents using dirty tricks). WE SHALL OVERCOME!! STAY CALM AND HOLD ON!
