This is a brief video telling the story of Bobby, a young man that my son spent a year attending while at LArche Tacoma. It speaks to the infinite worth in each of us, regardless of our culturally sanctioned priorities that focus only on body, mind, and talents. We are each so much more than what our bodies look like, how our minds function, and our apparent talents. So much more! The most important learning of my life came from Frank Kimper when he told me that Every person you will ever meet has infinite worth. As my good friend Fr. Philip Marshall says: We each matter and we matter absolutely. To the degree that we lose sight of this, nothing else makes sense. To the degree that we hold this in our awareness, our priorities become very, very clear. https://youtube/watch?v=HWmxL7CQ7nI This video was made by Dave Tanner and Megan Kennedy at North by Northwest in Spokane, Washington.
