This is a brilliant scene from the 1955 movie Bay Day at Black Rock starring Spencer Tracey, Lee Marvin & Ernest Borgnine. Spencer plays John J. Macreedy a WWII one armed ex-war veteran who lost his arm in the war, he comes to a small town in the mid-west United States to pay respects to a Japanese-American ex-was veteran, who saved Marcreedys life numbers of times, when he comes into the town saying who he is looking for the residents do not take kindly to this and bully Macreedy numbers of times, but no more so than Coley Trimble (Ernest Borgnine), the bullying mindless thug, who in the scene posted below, thinks he can beat Marceedy to a pult simple because he is partially handicapped, however what Trimble doesnt know is that Macreedy is an expert at martial arts and he bites off more than he can chew. What I like about this scene, is what you see isnt what it appears to be and you should never pick on a stranger, because you simply dont know who they are and what they are capable of.
