This is a conversation that I had with a college student today Her: The US needs to become a communist country with an open minded Dictator Me: Most Dictators are the opposite of open minded hence the name Dictator Her: If we could get a good strong one, he could lead us and the US into greatness Me: Typically, Dictators are not for the people, take Hitler for example. Her: Hitler was misunderstood, He was a great man. Me: But he tried to eradicate all Jews Her: She waved me off and said - But Castro is doing a great job in Cuba! Me: Have you spoken to Cubans who escaped Cuba or people living there in poverty? Her: Well, no but I hear that guy in Venezuela is awesome! If you were more open minded, you would get it, but youre a Republican She was not kidding - This was a real conversation that continued for 15 minutes
