Just have the twitter name at the bottom of it. As we say just about every week. Enjoy these moments with the players and fans. Friday Night Lights This is my sixth edition of Friday Night Lights. I am writing to honor all SENIOR football players as the near the end of their High School career. Most seniors will never play this game after high school and this Friday night, or a Friday in the next couple of weeks will be the last time that they play football. Seniors- Enjoy this week. Enjoy every moment and savior each practice. I promise you will miss it in the coming years. You may not realize it for a couple of years, but you will miss playing high school football. Enjoy the rough Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday practice, the walk threw Thursday. The last pep rally Friday. Enjoy all the little things that you have taken for granted over the years. You have given up a lot over the years to be able to play this wonderful game. It is worth it. You have made friendships on the field that you can never duplicate. You have friends that you can count on to help you through lifes struggles later in life. This Friday night you will walk out of the dressing room prepared to do battle with your teammates for the last time. When you walk out and get ready to play, take a moment to breath in the air, listen to the music playing on the PA, feel the energy in the stands and the excitement surrounding high school football. Play this Friday night like you have never played before. When you walk off that field, whether you won or lost, know that you gave everything that you had. You will not get another chance to get this game back. Dont take plays off and regret it later. This is your last chance to shine. Let it all hang out. I give all the young men that have played for your respective high schools and played with class and heart, no matter if you play for the best team in the state an average team or a terrible one, you have my respect and the respect of many other former players. I again want to add a message to the younger players, Juniors- You are next years leaders. Take leadership of YOUR team now. When yall start working out again again you are working out for your last chance to gain glory. Dont cheat yourself or your team mates. Dont allow others to cheat and skip. Be a LEADER. Remember the reason that you are working so hard is so that you can taste the fruits of victory next season. You will never have your SENIOR year back.
