This is a copy of the bill about the tethering of dogs. It is in Chapter 821, Health and Safety, Section 821.076. Unlawful Restraint of a Dog. You can zoom in or google this LAW. The bill describes what is considered a collar, how collar should fit, hours of which dog must be free of restraint, what weather conditions are considered ok , length of restraint. Please take the time to read this and give a voice about any and all abuses that you see . I was told by both the Chief of Police and the Sheriff that if a complaint is filed ( even by phone) that they will send someone to investigate . Please be vocal, please be watchful.
