This is a courtesy post for Miracle, an EXTREMELY URGENT senior at ACCT in Philly, Pa. She needs to find help by 8pm tonight. Thats just a little over an hour...not a lot of time but weve done it before and we can do it again with all of your help! Meet Miracle. She has done very well in her dog meets with dogs that are her size - just no small dogs or cats for this girl. She is a sweet affectionate happy girl who deserves a soft place to lay her head. She is around 8-10 years old and around 50 pounds. Surrendered to ACCT Philly due to landlord issues however she definitely does not look like she just came from a home. She has a number of scars, mainly on her face and hind legs and generally doesnt look like she was very well cared for. Scars or no scars, this older girl is wonderful! Give her a few minutes to warm up and she is full of love to give you. Shes probably not all too familiar with what its like to get love either but she sure knows how to give it! That is the beauty of so many of these homeless, neglected, abused dogs sitting at the shelter waiting for homes - their ability to love, regardless of what they have been through in their short lives is beyond inspiring . She seems friendly with dogs through the fence, she is laid back, good on her leash, knows sit and takes treats nicely. She was also a good girl for a bath! So shes all clean and has a pretty pink collar on so you notice her when you pass by her kennel. She is all ready for a home where she will actually be treated like a member of the family.
