This is a cover song I did called Oon Manam by Googoosh, the famous International Persian Pop Artist and legend, known worldwide because of her extraordinary talent in music. Lyrics by Ardalan Sarafraz and Music by Hassan Shamaiezadeh. It means Thats Me . Its a beautiful song Googoosh sang when she was very young, in her teen years. I want to dedicate this song to the One & Only Amazing Googoosh, who melts away peoples heart by her angelic voice. She is my No.1 idol and I just want to tell her how much I love her from the bottom of my heart and let her know that she has been one of my biggest inspirations in music as long as I can remember. Being a 4 year old little girl back in the 70s I used to stand in front of the mirror trying to sing her songs and dress up like her.I did actually get a chance to meet with her once when she was at a very famous hairsalon getting her hair and makeup done before a show she was having at one of the most famous Night Clubs in Tehran-Iran by the name of Cabaret Miami. That first meeting with her or as we say in Persian : Our first Didar felt like I was in heaven and dreaming. She was so beautiful then as she is now. And this message is for you Googoosh Aziz, my dream is to get a chance to meet with you one day and sing with you on a huge stage. That will be such an amazing experience in my life to be able to sing a duet with you. Until then I will keep on dreaming because afterall you need to dare to dream when youre alive and who knows maybe one day our paths do cross each other and we will meet face to face and together with our voices we will put the global stage on fire !!!
