This is a direct quote from Charlies mom Melissa, who doesnt know Im re-posting this on her behalf. I hope she wont mind. These words are full of wisdom. Whether you agree with every word or not, you cannot deny that they come from the heart and they come from experience, from a mother who has experienced the death of a child. In my opinion, truer words were never spoken. Today will be a very difficult day for those who are forced to say goodbye to a boy who left this world far, far too soon. I ask you to think carefully before speaking today. Regardless of what your personal beliefs may be, put them aside for one day and THINK before you speak. There is no better place for a child to be than right here growing up with their family. If god needed an angel he should have chose one who lived a long life with more experience. You dont know how he/she feels so dont pretend you do. It wont be ok. And time wont heal. So please give hugs, be sorry, offer a shoulder, but dont say things that in a time such as this can be hurtful or taken out of context. Be good to each other today. Perform some random act of kindness, smile at a stranger and hug the people you love a little tighter, there are far too many of us who wont ever have that chance again. BE THE GOOD!
