This is a few days late because I have been so extremely busy...But a few weeks prior to September 11th, I was in NYC with Jayne and Nick and we walked by the Trade Towers and I really wanted to go to the top of the tower. Nick and Jayne had already done it, so we opted not to go....needless to say, a few weeks later I lost that opportunity forever in what will more than likely be the greatest American tragedy in my lifetime. While most people get emotional on that day and the phrase Never Forget is thrown around like Thank You I learned something greater that day -- and it seems trite and commonsense but it really impacted me. Aaron Burrs quote never seemed truer to me...Never put off for tomorrow, what you can do today.... In an instant, those buildings were gone. In an instant, friends and family were gone. In an instant, life changed forever. Life is short, friends. If you want something, go for it -- because it might not be there for you tomorrow.
