It is the goal of the Humane Alliance to increase public involvement in finding positive solutions to the homeless companion animal problem in Rutherford County and beyond. We are working to strengthen the partnership with others in our community to develop anti-cruelty laws, regulations, and humane enforcement initiatives. We continue to work toward developing alternatives to handling homeless companion animals beyond euthanasia. WE DO NOT EUTHANIZE OUR ADOPTABLE ANIMALS. We promote spay and neuter as a way of decreasing unwanted animal births. Your donations are tax deductible. We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Who We Are The Humane Alliance of Rutherford County was founded on the belief that every companion animal should have the right to live out its natural life in a loving home. Acts of protective intervention by the Humane Alliance will give many companion animals a second chance at life in a loving new home. We believe that there is a unique and reciprocal bond between humans and animals.
