This is a film I shot on the nicest day of October in 2012 with Lola Schalekamp. It was shot on Ektachrome, a film stock Kodak doesnt make anymore, with a Bolex camera, and edited on a Steenbeck flatbed. The cuts are all taped together. Prior to this week, I had only seen this twice. Once while editing, and once through a projector on a cinema screen. It looked incredible. And while this digital transfer cant quite compete with the image that comes from the warm glow of an arc lamp projector, its still nice, and holds the unique quality of celluloid film. I have to really thank Hannah Selinsky, who found this reel of film and mailed it to me after I left school, and rescued it from being lost in an abyss. Hope you enjoy.
