This is a follow up from my earlier post. Not everyone will wade - TopicsExpress

This is a follow up from my earlier post. Not everyone will wade through the report below. I would ask people though to consider and reflect on the differing policing methods used. Consider how the police acted around Yes events, a family atmosphere with fantastic consensual policing. Consider also how they allowed fascist unionist thugs to march from the Duke st. area and physically assault independence supporters in George Square on the evening of the 19th September. Now think of the scores of police bussed in from outside Glasgow ready to deal with a peaceful corteo of mainly young teenagers highlighting other episodes of police brutality in the first place. The results speak for themselves, teenagers beaten and abused, none resisted or acted in any way that would warrant such treatment. Shameful in any society with pretensions of civilisation. I am glad to say that the Scottish government have been reported to the Scottish Human Rights Commission. And to the UN Committee on Human Rights for breaches of the international covenant on civil and political rights relating to policing. And for issues around the Offensive Behaviour Act which breach human rights. We are not 2nd class citizens in our own country and we will not tolerate nor accept brutal political policing. The Scottish government have had ample opportunities to rectify this situation, they only elected member (John Mason) who has show an interest has shown themselves willing only to obstruct. The hostile disinterest should tell you all you need to know.
