This is a good reason to give thanks: Psalm 28:7 THE LORD is my strength and my shield, my heart trusts in Him & I am helped. Who do you believe? Who can you trust? There are a handful of people in my life who I can really trust. They have proven themselves to me - in loving me, supporting me and quite often telling me the truth, in love. BUT, my nearest and dearest are fallible and they are temporary (as I am to them). They cant see my heart or read my thoughts. It is ultimately only God who is the One in whom we can entirely put our trust. HE is our only guarantee. He will never let us down. He cannot fall sick, or be in a bad mood or have an off day. He is not fickle. He will never die. He is always faithful. We can always depend on Him. He is our Rock and Foundation and as the Psalm says, He is our Strength and our Shield.
