This is a good resource for strategies to bring about the only sane health policy: single-payer national health insurance. Medicaid has an under-5% admin cost: over 95% of money paid in goes to patient care. Private health insurance can take up to 30% of dollars paid in for administration costs and profit. Just expanding Medicaid to cover all would be a huge savings; the economics of single payer has many other cost-saving aspects as well. This site is run by doctors who want single-payer health insurance, because it would make for better patient care.
