This is a great clip with Li Bing Bing, China and AWF campaign -To see elephants as more than a thing,or just as money.. requires a social wave of change. Stigmatizing and pointing fingers is one way, but jt wont convince those who dont care about life. To do that, to care, equires making an emotional connection, something one can relate to on a very intimate level, to see the animal as Whole and a life and a being. To stop the demand for elephants (or any trade in any wildlife for that matter) in those countries where new economic wealth brings the ability to follow traditional status symbols.. we must reconnect to humanity, our souls and nature. Sounds corny, but its true... we must reconnect and know there is more to being human than having... that perhaps being is the reason we are here. Its more than 96 elephants being killed per day now... it is at the point where, biologically, elephants can not reproduce their numbers in keeping with how many are being killed.. this is called the tipping point. its not an if anymore, its a math now... will we stop killing? youtu.be/Xmqf_UfcARw
