This is a great post! The photos Tim and Donna caught are particularly excellent in demonstrating the importance of allowing healthy socialization to occur. Many times I see owners end social/play sessions when the behavior among the pack is actually very appropriate and productive. Dogs speak dog better than we do. While our leadership and guidance is critical to the modern, family dogs success, theres often an element of stepping back and letting nature take its course thats really beneficial. I definitely take this approach with my boys as new recruits come in and need to learn healthy boundaries. Kitty and the Tweedles are PRICELESS playground monitors for the young, awkward, insecure, and unsocialized guests... we wouldnt be half as effective without them.
