This is a great story. Being a Fire photographer for years back in the 80s and 90s the emergency scenes captured by fire photographers are forever for firefighters to learn from. Many wondered why I stopped taking photographs of fires, with certain people now out of the picture I can now say honestly it was pure vindictiveness, jealousy, and back stabbing that forced me to stop. My career was more important and I was forced to stop something that I loved to do and strongly believe in as this article clearly articulates. The job we do needs to be seen by all not only for the general public to understand, but for our members of the fire service to learn from and prevent tragic endings to the job we love to do.
