This is a hard post. I moved here in 2010 when I was 36. I had only been grooming 3 years then but I was good at it and always have had a way with dogs and horses all my life. I was told I couldnt do it, that only fueled me to prove them wrong. Most of my life I worked in industrial fields because thats where my education was and also was a Realtor for a good while. And pretty successful in both. This wasnt the first business I owned, it is the third. I wanted to do something i loved and provide a couple jobs to the local area and be a productive member of the community. I have decided its time for me to move on. In the last year I have had several defeats. I have always wanted to believe that if you are good to people they will be good back, and thats just not true. I am a genuine and honest person and try to bring something positive to the people around me in whatever small way I can, and far too many people take advantage of that. And right now I have some serious issues that I absolutely must concentrate on and I dont have the emotional or physical fortitude to continue here. I cant go on pretending that everything is okay when its just not. The only thing that keeps me here is the attachment I have to other peoples dogs, and thats just not enough. I am gonna miss so many dogs and so many customers. I am so sorry.
