This is a hoot.... Ive been there, done that. I did a spin around on highway in VT. I was lucky, ended in a soft snowbank on right side of road (instead of plunging off railing on left)--heading in the wrong direction of course. (The weatherman was still saying, the snow will arrive tomorrow--wrong!) Also when I lived in Manhattan, I was walking in the road, along side the curb in the slush rather than walk in the slick black ice on the side walk. A cop was signaling me to get out of the street, and he fell flat on his booster... fortunately, it was an amble one, so he did not appear to be hurt. Needless to say, I stayed in the street.
