This is a huge fear within the white political power population, you know. When Malcolm X was still alive and the Black Panther movement strong in the US, there was much talk of it here too - many people converted and /or became aligned with the Marxist principles of the Panthers.. Struggle for liberation has many similarities wherever it occurs - one of those similarities is the program for change - is it religion based or economic/socially based?... Weve got to hope for non religious change - here- we already have a strong religious culture amongst our First Nations, that is in anger of being completely usurped and bastardised by christian fundamentalists - look at the missions - do we really want to be split further along religious lines too?
