This is a link to an article where Palestenians are giving tips on dealing with riot gas to the protestors in Ferguson. I want you to let that soak in for one second. I know I know...here you go with that psuedo-revolutionary black power bullshit...nope...its nothing more than an amazement at the power of information and those who control it. I promise if you have enough attention span Ill drop a jewel on you in the next few paragraphs. The control of information is powerful enough to redesign the complete image of a race of people. Take them from a proud people who celebrated hollywood portrayals of young black students in college in A different world or gave you the model for a family in the Cosby Show. That same medium was used to juxtapose each and every faint reminder of what was once a community. One with an identity...strong men and stronger women. Widdled down to a fraction of what it once was. Where our men once faced authorities fully ready to give their life and liberty...they have now been replaced, through conditioning, by a docile, apathetic breed. Im one of them. Full of great ideas and no action. But how did this happen. How and why did I mention the media and hollywood? Could you imagine the reaction of this country had the black man and woman and the black dynamic in general not been smeared and besmirked in the media for decades. One must understand the place that propoganda plays in the destruction of a people. Yound men, unarmed and innocent, young men are being shot down by the dozens....ON CAMERA....ON EVERY NEWS OUTLET...and the outrage over a rich entertainer hanging himself destroyed any momentum Ferguson may have had.. Imagine that. Is it to cliche to say imagine if it were black cops and white young me? Probably but imagine. I have quite a few young men and women Ive brought onto this earth and I truly fear for their safety in this land. Problem is what do we do? I wont say nobody cares because thats not true. Its just out of those who care how many really have the power to affect a real change? Those who do have that kind of influence dont dare risk their position of priviledge over a lost cause. And in a since it is a lost cause. Their will be no revolution!!!! They made fear based laws over the past 20 years or so that made many special places for those who may choose to dissent. Tell me who was the last revolutionary...dont worry...Ill wait. They will bury your ass in cuba somewhere or have you murked if you stir up that bullshit. Remember Trayvon? Still got your hoodie? I know you do..dont front. What did that change. Im not pessimisitic. Im realistic. Im telling you for real 10000 percent. In a land where a people may be shot dead on camera and no real and immediate change occurs. You then have a race of people whose value is much less on the spectrum than their counterparts!!
