This is a little off the subject of wild horses but was very much my reality today. We live between Los Angeles and San Diego and get the Los Angeles news and weather. If we believe the dramatic coverage they are giving to an impending rain storm coming our way, we are going to float away tomorrow! Well, some of you may not know this, but donkeys do not do rain! In fact, our JJ literally thinks he is going to melt like the Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz! No kidding! If it is raining, you will NOT see JJ until it stops. With no barn facilities on our property, we even bought both donkeys their very own calving huts to keep them high and dry. They are tucked away tonight and for their sakes, I sure hope its not the squall the news has predicted coming. Stay tuned......=)
