This is a little poem written for one of our young people at Lyth Hill. This is one of the many ways we help our young people explore emotions and understand relationships. One day, when im all grown up, Ill turn and walk away. But Ill think about you always, Every single day. When i see a person smiling, When i hear a person laugh, It will bring back lots of memories Of my time at Lyth Hill past. Singing songs, Kicking balls, Writing graffiti on the walls. All the good times, all the bad, But when i leave youll see me sad. At times i could be hyper, At times i could be sad, At times i could be angry, But you said i wasnt bad. At times i could be funny, At times i could be kind, At times i could be helpful, But you always held me in mind. I have chioces i can make, I have paths that i can take. You can help me find my way, and put me right if i do stray.
