This is a load. I met the CEO of Google fiber last month at a luncheon that was attended by him as well as FCC chairman Wheeler. First off, Wheeler is a first class sleezeball. Second, the CEO of Google fiber, a democrat and a brilliant man, told us all that the biggest obstacle to updating Americas internet infrastructure was the Obama administration. Barack, keep your hands off my internet options. I want better internet at a cheaper price. Mr. Mideen (Google fiber CEO) pointed out that his product (1 gig up and down I believe) was twice as fast as the average internet supplied by the big boys (time warner, Verizon) and cost half as much. We NEED Google fiber, but the worst president we have ever had stands in the way. Obama wants to keep the status quo in place and create an impassible barrier to entry for no reason. Time Warner Cable and Verizon are behind this. Once again, instead of being for the people, comrade Obama is at the back of big business. Obama high speed internet at cheap prices sounds a lot like a good idea, but it also sounds like a free market solution, and free markets are anti-american. Jk, but seriously, with Barack screwing up everything he touches with his anti-midas touch (everything he touches turns to shit), lets keep his hands off my internet.
